I Diane am 64 and John is 60. This will be Johns second marriage, he was married for 30 years. I am a widow of 4 years I was married for 32 years.
I want a day I can remember always and a day of excitement. We have a total of 4 adult children and 7 young grandchildren. We want very much for them all to be part of this big day for us. Unfortunately the adult children are for the most part quiet people, not a lot of excitement there. Neither of us have any really close friends, although we do have a few. In fact the only people I really know are my late husbands family. Also we don't want to spend a fortune either.
I am not sure what to do. Maybe you can give me an idea.
Thank you
Diane & John
Hi Diane
First, congratulations on your engagement! Exciting times ahead for both of you and lots to plan and talk about too.
You mention that you want a wedding with lots of excitement and a day to remember so my suggestion would be to have your wedding at an exciting venue.
A number of zoos, parks, museums and tourist attractions are also able to hold weddings. Have a think about locations that are close to you and think what would work for you and your families.
Have a look at these cheap wedding venues for some ideas.
After the ceremony, if the weather will be ok, you could have a picnic and outdoor games. The games will hopefully get everyone having fun together and will a fun memorable day.
One very lovely way to include all of your family members is to have a Unity sand ceremony. I have recommended this before and you can see the details < ahref="https://www.cheap-wedding-solutions.com/unity-sand-ceremony.html" target="blank">here.
Best of luck and look forward to hearing how your plans are coming together.
