Table themes for a wedding can bring a party atmosphere to your reception. Whether it is a theme that reflects your passions or a beautiful theme that adds to the look of the room they can all add extra expense to your wedding budget. The way to save money when choosing your theme is to do most of the design work yourself.
Popular wedding themes at the moment are butterflies, Spring and Christmas with wedding color schemes being chocolate, wine, turquoise, sage and yellow - obviously not all together!

If you already have an idea for your theme then you need to think about how you are going to pull it off, keeping your table themes simple is the key.

This beautiful Asian themed table uses the gorgeous Asian colors and exotic flowers.
If you have chosen to have a butterfly theme wedding then think about the colors that you will use for the butterflies. You don't want to be buying everything that you see that has a butterfly on it, firstly it would look too much and secondly it would cost you a fortune. Subtle hints of butterflies at each place setting with butterflies incorporated into the centerpiece and maybe butterfly named tables would be enough.
Seasonal and festive themed tables like Christmas can be subtle, it would be fun to have a miniature Christmas tree at each table as the centerpiece with Christmas crackers at each place setting, you could have table names as Holly, Ivy, Mistletoe etc.
Wedding color schemes are great for effect and give a big wow factor when you first enter the room. Color schemes that work well together are turquoise and coral, chocolate brown and light blue or pink, red wine and white. Have a chat with your reception venue as they maybe able to hire the table linen in your color at a minimal cost to you. Work with your florist to find flowers that will fit with the color scheme or find candles in the right color and you are ready to go.
The main point to remember when planning and organising your table themes is to think about what you want, draw a plan, practice with different designs, keep it simple and then go and only buy this design. It is a good idea to buy one extra table's worth of stuff just incase you have any breakages!
