Hi. My finace and I have been together 6 yrs. We don't have a lot of money...2000 saved up, and 2000 from each of my parents. My brothers going through a nasty divorce so I don't want a fancy wedding to shove in his face to begin with. We live in ri...my mom lives in mass and my dad lives in nh. My finaces family will be traveling from virginia to see us get married. I don't have an option to get married at a family members house, and I think a church isn't an option either (as my fiance is not religious and the church won't accept us). I'm open to anywhere in ri or mass, even cape cod. I looked at a lot of venues, but the costs are just too much. I looked at state parks, but I don't like how there's no restrooms for my guests. There will not be a large bunch of ppl, tops is 50 guests. Any suggestions? I'm stuck...and we want to get married this year...something cheap, inexpensive, but yet still nice, and a night for us to remember. Thank you!!!
Hi Kelly
Here are a few that I have found that hopefully you might like.
RI
Hope Artiste Village - It is a great urban space and the best bit is you bring your own food and drinks! You could save yourself loads here
Ivy Garden - looks sweet and the pricing is quite reasonable if you have the carvery, however it doesn't look like you could get married there too.
Tufts University - Love this one as the catering prices are only to cover costs!!!!
Town Hall of the Town of Holliston has a banquet hall that you can hire which includes tables, chairs etc.
Hope they help you find the venue that you are looking for, I did find Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass does have a function room that you can hire, they don't allow alcohol at the site, but it could be worth a look.
