Just in the very early stages of planning and leaning towards a destination wedding. We like the idea of Hawaii,(probably maui or kauai)... but it thought it would be really expensive...so open to suggestions (although would rather not do mexico or dominican republic).
Would like it to be somewhere with a great beach and lots of activities to suit different guests. majority of guests will be traveling from Canada and the UK. We know the price will vary a bit with the travel, but hoping to keep it under 2000/guest (for Canadian travelers anyways) . An all inclusive would be great too, for simplicity. We thought many of the Caribbean Islands look nice as well, but didnt know much about them. We havent set a date or anything yet so time of the year is flexible too. At this stage just looking to see what options we have within our budget and start really narrowing it down from there.
Hi Stephen
Have you had a look at some of the less well known Carribbean islands? We spent a fantastic two weeks on St Maarten, it is part of the Netherlands Antilles and is a lovely, relaxed island with lots of beautiful beaches.
We chose the island as we were able to get a great deal on flights and found the prices when we got there very reasonable.
Good luck finding your perfect destination wedding!
Suz
